Also, as discussed in the full paper, Thena did build a version of SourceCred called CredEquate that was easier for less-expert coders to use (and thereby allow the community to take control of weights more actively), but it did involve compromises and it was never fully tested. Pretty sure it's still in SourceCred's GitHub.
